Two swing dancers who I coached in aerials put together a pretty acrobatic routine to a silly song:
Rowan and Alec.

Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown
02:25pm MST, 30 Sep 2005
A few weeks ago (Sept. 16-18) my dance partner Annie and I headed down to Minneapolis for the Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown. We managed to pull off a 3rd place in the Showcase division, and we had a lot of fun competing and dancing to some amazing live bands. Here are some videos people took of events we competed in.
Norwich, VT and Kingston, ON
12:31pm MST, 4 Mar 2005
So this weekend I'm heading up with a few other SAF members to teach a dance workshop in Norwich, Vermont!. It's a very pretty little town that vaguely reminds me of the town in the movie Groundhog Day. When we give workshops people come from all the surrounding areas to take classes and come dance.
After that, March 11-13th we're heading up to Kingston, Ontario to teach another set of workshops at Queen's University.
Canadian Championships - More Good Stuff
12:53pm MST, 27 May 2004
This year's ECSC, Canada's one and only major swing dance competition, was a great success for the Swinging Air Force. We cleaned up! I had a pretty good weekend as well, including a 1st place in the Fast Dance division that I was particularly happy about.
The Team Brings Back a Plaque
01:54am MST, 19 Apr 2004
The Swinging Air Force All-Bal Team brought back a 4th place plaque at this year's NADC, not a small achievement for a six-month-old team at a major national event! Swinging Air Force members also took 1st place in the Just Dance Lindy Hop division. It was a great weekend for the SAF!
SAF All Bal Team at North Atlantic Dance Championships!
04:17pm MST, 13 Apr 2004
This weekend I'll be attending the North Atlantic Dance Championships in Stamford, CT as a member of the Swinging Air Force's new team, the SAF All-Bal Team. NADC, despite its name, is one of the two major national US swing dance events and therefore one of the biggest events in the world.
The All-Bal Team is one of the first ever swing dance teams ever to specialize exclusively in Balboa, a swing dance that originated on Balboa Island in California. After a few performances, this will be the SAF All-Bal Team's first competition.
